Terrible. Used to be some magic in Milwaukee: great fan support, team comraderie and a scrappy/underdog mentality which doesn't show up in WAR stats. Looks like it's all going down the toilet now. The Hader trade was a clear sign that winning is a distant 2nd or 3rd on management's priority list. Eric Lauer was pretty vocal after that debacle.
Burnes is right about things that don't need to be said....Guess the only silver lining is that he's not on the Yanks. Who knows what trash Cashman might have talked?
This feels like a clear tear down year in Milwaukee. Burnes, Adames, Woodruff, Williams...they could all be gone in July if the team stumbles. Hell, even if they dont stumble....They were 4 games ahead of the Cards when they traded Hader.
