I love teaching people new tricks. No my buddy does it all the time because stocks are 99% algorithm computers and they can and do tighten the spreads if you call in. Anyone can do it and should for stocks that have greater than 100% spread.

It is real. You can test it out on any stock. This has been known for at least 10 years.
