Yes, I understand and agree that money begets corruption.

But these articles bolster the point that lobbying affects policy, and legislation, but not the approval of individual drugs or devices etc. The approval of vaccines was not directly affected by lobbying. On the other hand, how much money went into emergency spending bills, and how many doses the govt. would buy from Pfizer were likely influenced.
