ggwpq, This is brazen infringement and easily provable. Unless they only approve scripts for >500 trigs and to prevent pancreatitis, and that would have to be documented. Otherwise they are filling all REDUCE-IT CVD scripts with an unauthorized generic in violation of AMRNs valid patents and exclusive rights. It can’t get any easier to prove IMO. However, I believe that AMRN has neither the desire to sue insurers, the cash to pursue it, or belief that they could win an obviousness challenge if they did. I think these payers know it too.
