Listen. evaluate and make a decision on whether to implement it or not.
That is the grown up way to behave.
There are dumb ideas if you want to be silly, ridiculous or outlandish. (as your example of jumping out of a plane proves)
But in business there are no dumb ideas. Every possible avenue to success should always be considered.
