Lizzy; yes, tragic for sure, just proves my point about Insurance Companies (my #3 on the hit list). They could care less about peoples health in general.

Inactive ingredients in Brand Vascepa: per the attached bottle label;
tocopherol - They are fat-soluble alcohols with antioxidant properties, important in the stabilization of cell membranes.
gelatin - a virtually colorless and tasteless water-soluble protein prepared from collagen and used in food preparation as the basis of jellies, in photographic processes, and in glue.
glycerin - a sweet syrupy trihydroxy alcohol obtained by saponification of fats and oils
malititol - a sugar alcohol, Sugar alcohols are found naturally in some fruits and vegetables. They're also considered carbohydrates.
sorbitol - a sugar, a sweet-tasting crystalline compound found in some fruit.
They don't list the % of each. Dang everything has sugar

Lizzy; I don't agree with this part of the following possible side effects of icosapent ethyl?
I've never experienced any of these side effects with Brand Vascepa. Just the opposite as a matter of fact.
The most common side effects of icosapent ethyl include:

• Muscle and joint pain.
• Swelling of the hands, legs, or feet.
• Constipation
• Gout
• Heart rhythm problems (atrial fibrillation).
These are not all the possible side effects of icosapent ethyl. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. You may report side effects to FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088.

Of course I'm speaking to the choir.
