Who is gonna remove THOUSANDS of solar lights than reinstall each one before/after road surfacing?
They need a product more practical than this. I've seen reflectors installed which makes WAY MORE sense, inexpensive, you don't need to remove them AND they are VERY durable.
Solar lights are only good for the summer, than have to be removed before the winter in order to prevent them from getting destroyed from snow plows.. they will be useless either way in winter because they will be covered in dirt and grime, or is KT gonna hire squeegee boys to wipe them down once a day?
