Yes the U.S. healthcare system is not aimed at providing health and thus a life more worry free with opportunity for all.
It isn't doing well at all in terms of life expectancy of americans in general and the cost/spend is the highest per capita of any develop economy. based on a system full leeching originations set up to extract dollars for nothing.
The U.S. is pretty good at providing the best healthcare for those with the financial strengths to prioritise and pay for the best access to private care. Those able to access that top care selfishly don't see the problem it creates for the society they and their fellow citizen share.
