That's ok. I bought a small boatload at the recent peak, because I was too optimistic about the near future, and used $$ I wasn't going to touch. Yolo

Tryn2,

I thought you had derisked a little back when you were up very considerably?

At least have retirement funds safe and some living expenses, but you’re right, that’s me and my lack of discipline is child’s play compared to your all in approach!

I’ve been retired for over 4 years so even though I’m convinced DCVax will be approved (at least in the UK) and nwbo stock should be a multi tenbagger, I so far invested a large amount that would be pretty painful to lose, but not enough to risk our financial security.

Still most days I add more nwbo. Today I sold off some good growth stock because I couldn’t help buying another chunk of nwbo in an account that had a $2.09 per share average basis, lowering the basis about a dime.

In reality I have enough shares that if nwbo goes to $10 it would provide a nice cushion for a comfortable retirement and legacy for the kids. Any multiples above, like $20, $30, $50, … would be generational.

So maybe I’m not reaching for the stars, and won’t make $100M or more, but I think I could still console myself. On the other hand if I risked my wife’s financial security, a roof over our heads, and we couldn’t splurge a little while we still can, that would be a failure on my part.

Anyway, cheers to us longs and GLTA!

tryn2,

Good for you. I have no doubt that the longs will be rewarded abundantly. It is just a matter of time.

I wish I could have a house to sell and the profit could bring more shares. The insurance company issued a check to fix the roof damage from the hails. I asked my wife if I could do the fix myself and we could use the money to add more shares. She concurred. The drawback is that now anytime it is raining, my heart beats faster.

Our investment is safe and we just need a little bit patience. LP has 30m shares. Had she put her personal gain over shareholders' interest, she would have taken the deal with the BP years ago instead of walking away.

There are hundreds of clinical trials on dendritic cells. I haven't seen any of them have the the occurrence rate of pseudo-progression as substantial as that of DcVax-L.

Argos did a phase 3 study of dendritic cells on renal cell carcinoma and failed. There is no pseudo-progression mentioned in the publication.

Recall the combo trial of DcVax plus Keytruda on colorectal cancer

For the same target, Ignacio Melero from Spain did an open label randomized phase II trial using dendritic cell vaccine. The trial was curtailed because of funding issue. But among eight patients four of them lived over six years by the time the paper was published. Most likely they are still alive today. Note that no pseudo-progression was mentioned in the paper. I think we would agree that DcVax + keytruda should deliver even better results for this type of cancer.
