This trite statement is one not made by a critical thinker...
I have been fortunate enough to listen to various CEOs at the Fortune 50 firm that I once worked for and remain invested in, as well as a number of others. And, in the NWBO meeting I listened to, I heard an informed and capable CEO, one with a firm grasp of the business. I heard her work through a range of explanations related to the company and the macroenvironment that are of interest and concern for investors, as she meticulously described the processes in play. No one with even a modicum of business knowledge could arrive at a different assessment, unless one does not actually know business. Of course, there is always the possibility that there is another agenda at work, as CEO Powers pointed out.
