I visited planetariums many times as a child. And I took two years of astronomy in college.

As for my "question", I don't think you understood it. Planets do not have an "up" and "down", unless they happen to be tidally locked. Not even that would count as having a "head", or whatever the opposite of a head would be.

And we don't want a tidal lock, do we now?
