Nice....I was never advocating one or the other ,,Certainly not the insanity that is the gun lobby...And really not so callous to anyone's plight..... Guess I was returning Bulls facetiousness over the drug issue...Which I understand,,,,Just saw a report how 5 people were found on the floor dead after snorting cocaine or what they thought was but wasn't....
I originally just pointed out how numbers are skewed for a particular interest....And.putting aside other issues for any particular party and their bases
Full disclosure for me, I lost a son to opioids and a father to suicide by gun....
Sorry for rambling on here and going way further and deeper than the original context of your original post. But guns, crime, and drugs, and the havoc they cause on decent society are interconnected as one, debate shouldn't be between counting or recognizing deaths of drugs and deaths of guns. It's one number. And the differences of the damage from the two parties are massive, not the same.
Well said ! Ramble away! If only the two parties could start making as much sense as you just did, which is a pet peeve of mine.... But I find little compromise when taking to either side....All or none
Thanks and best, there are rational non partisan people out there, Just not heard over the din of the 2 party system...
