How does shadow banning work?
A shadowban occurs when a social media platform bans a user's content from showing up without notifying the user. In most cases, the user can still post and respond, but only they see their content. They don't receive an official ban or notification, hence the name shadowban.
And actually pretty funny. We'll let you post away but no one will hear you.
What the shadow banned people don't understand is they were violating the rules of the road to begin with. And because of their notoriety Twitter simply choose not to kick them to the curb whereas IHub for instance wouldn't have a second thought.
Such are the perils of posting on Social Media websites. It is their playground and not yours. They will let you play but you must play by their rules.
I am sure Truth Social does the same thing but no one wants to talk about that.
