Here's another article I ran into on an IMGN site that from an International view is critical of the FDA, especially when it comes to invalidating drugs after accelerated approvals.

I'm a big believer in making more products available after less rigorous and expensive trials and having Phase 4's in which all results are reported. Let the marketplace decide what becomes blockbuster products, and which die, because outcomes become public. Thing is, a drug that isn't working well for most might be just what you need when others simply aren't working, if it's never been approved nothing may be found that works. I suppose the expression, different strokes for different folks applies.
