No it is NOT a failure. p<=0.05 is an arbitrary cutoff chosen a century ago by R A Fisher FRS. Other factors like effect size and safety, etc. need to be used to determine failure. Any intelligent statistician would agree.

Blarcamesine's Phase 2b/3 for treating early stage Alzheimer's disease is a success. THAT IS A FACT!!!
