There is much more to the law than precedents, particularly the intent. SCOTUS is ignoring precedent in case after case if circumstances warrant.
That is known as “new evidence” exactly what the SCOTUS provided with the Lucia case. DBMM did so and a Dismissal was ordered and remains the Standing Order.
Evidence is the key, not old precedents, as the law evolves and is not one size fits all. If so it would not be due process as defined in the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
