Only time I've seen Anavex use the word 'partner' was wrt marketing and distribution, about the way you would 'partner' with FEDX to deliver your products.

I get the very real sense TGD wants to establish his own major pharm and be free to research many other afflictions. Partnering, mergers, and acquisitions come with many more considerations than just financing, control being a major one.
