Every company is working as hard as they can to reduce power consumption. Even the sunset technology companies are reducing power, but that cannot compete with Perkinamine. Vacuum tubes got better every year until transistors replaced them.
Fruno, The low heat factor is the energy savings thing I'm wondering about. It seems that the modulators don't require cooling fans and I strongly suspect that datacenters would have much lower electric bills. HVAC consumes a tremendous amount of electricity and I'm thinking the datacenters won't have to run the AC as much once they fully implement LWLG's technology. Dunno. That savings is impossible to calculate until datacenters have fully transitioned.
