I believe interests on both sides are aligned for a settlement to happen sooner rather than later.
NWBO - a cash settlement get them what they need, $$$ financing. Wolves backing off even if only temporarily, allows for stock price recover, and chance to move to a new exchange. Those are their financial priorities. And a lawsuit only distracts from their focus needing to be on commercialization.
Wolves - dragging out means more legal discovery, more eyes. SEC know but don't want to be forced into it, so likely the SEC will pressure them to settle or else have to investigate (my cynicism).
