IMO it is because NWBO has not followed up with news outlets for more coverage, interviews, discussions of the potential....and maybe, they have been contacted after the JAMA article for follow up and declined!
The low news coverage is simply because it is a rare disease. Despite some high profile deaths, it is not breast cancer that affects millions in the US. When we get some fresh, current solid tumor data, that will be a big story. IMHO.
I've been wondering the same thing as you, beachhyena. This seems like major medical news on at least 2 fronts: 1) progress against GBM 2) progress with a dendritic cell vaccine.
Agree with LET that most likely reason is that GBM is a rare disease.
