Terrific post, Bright Boy! Thank you for your continuous well -thought through commentary. I believe BP is finally coming to terms with the fact that they can make their billions by changing gears and working with us, rather than running us over and crushing a treatment that helps, perhaps even cures, rather than hurts, their patients.
Those gears are changing slowly , but I think this week we’ll see them take that new kinder, more curative direction.
NWBO may be disruptive, but is also uniquely inclusive!

When changing SOC in any healthcare system, the providers of the myriad of healthcare products will experience significant financial disruptions as their current products are eliminated and replaced with new treatments. When disruptions occur, financial opportunities appear, not only for the providers of these new treatments, but also for those that would attempt to delay and prevent these changes in the SOC. Those forces are betting that "Fear and Doubt" will overpower "PROMISE and HOPE" !!! To prevent that from happening requires a financial system with enforceable regulations designed to prevent illegal trading practices and whose regulators are committed to ensuring the greater good for public welfare/healthcare !!!

Great post BB.

I really cannot say what products will be threatened by our vaccine, and which will be enhanced, I think that can only be established by further use, or further trials. I would prefer the vaccine being accepted, and Oncologists learning what works best by doing, but some more trials may be in order.

We know from Dr. Liau's work to date that Keytruda sales ought to be enhanced, so clearly they should be a winner. I cannot tell you if some of the SOC drugs used in the trial in combination with DCVax-L can be eliminated, to my knowledge that has yet to be tried.

I believe in the end the BP's may be selling as much product, or more, as patients living longer and achieving cures actually present more opportunity, not less, for their products. The product mix that sells, however, may be very different than what's sold today as they discover what products work best when combined with our vaccines.

I see our vaccine as more of a benefit than a threat to BP's, certainly some of their products may fall by the wayside, but others may be dramatically be enhanced. If Dr. Liau's trial with Keytruda and DCVax-L leads to 50% survival at 5 years you know she won't stop, she'll continue to try and find what can be added to save the other 50%.

I doubt if we'll ever reach the point where we're saving say 95% of all cancer patients across the board, but it will be far less of a threat than what it is today.
