None from 1366 in the control group lived 5 years? That seems unlikely. If true the 25 alive in the treatment group of 232 in the DxVax trial is stunning.
So, somebody hypothesized that there were no heartbeats at the 5 year mark in the 1366 ECA placebos, and that the 5.7% was a KM curve estimate. If they didn’t follow the individual patients to the 5 year mark, how do we know there were no heartbeats at 5-year mark in that group?
