Thank you Mkc12five. That abstract seems to be an untested hypothesis...but interesting. If there were some additional evidence that it might really work in glaucoma then I think we could get at least one doc to try...

There are quite a few studies into sigma-1 agonists like Blarcamesine as probable treatments for glaucoma (I would suggest a trial for early stage glaucoma before percent damage occurs.}
