I agree and as stated, I think the US healthcare system is the best in the world.

While heavily regulated and burdensome, like any of our government entities, they sometimes over complicate things to justify their existence.

As for DC-Vax, if FDA reviews promptly there would be little reason to delay an EUA while formal BLA is prepared.

They found a way for Covid vaccine approval quickly, surely they can with other ailments.

Sadly, Medicare is on course for bankruptcy. The diabetes diagnosis is the prime driver. It is a diet and exercise driven disease which leads to all sorts of vascular related illnesses like heart disease, dementia, kidney failure and more. All of it is largely avoidable by eating a healthy diet and exercising. But sugar is addictive and processed high fat high salt foods add flavor but not nutrition. The world is adopting the western death diet and we will soon self cull ourselves. Whether we flip back to the dark ages or progress by natural selection remains to be seen.
