Sorry but this is incorrect. One order is one commission if it is a good till canceled order there will still be just one commission even if it takes many small lots over up to 6 months the usual period covered by the good till canceled order. A commission is paid on the first lot the rest are paid for by that commission.

I agree with that, But it is possible to get a nibble then have the market move away. Thus, the rest never gets filled.
