Memories from Hand Jive.

Back in the1980s my Company ent me from Bahrain to Houston to work on a short project. I was accompanied by a young Irishman. Hanrahan had never been to America.

On our first night we went to a red hot, jumpn and jiven night club, next door to our hotel. The place was packed with Houston's Beautiful People

Twice during the evening they played "Hand Jive"


The waiting staff was 5 or 6 knockout waitresses and a young Black guy

Before Hand Jive started the group would go toa small stage and do the hand jive, Man did they did the Hand Jive!

Young Eddie Hanraty thought the had died and gone to Jump\n and Jive'n Heaven

Middle aged Okie Drifter was right there with him!
