so the fed is no longer data dependent.
this was explained by shane s.

world credit markets were cooked. the bank of england saying
Brit pensions were in trouble.
was code for QT over.

so when data is not favorable the market will do a liquidation
break and came back quickly

now if this changes i will post

the fed has so many more tools then they did in 2008
and many more options. fed rate is just one tool
