Is it allowed to submit to FDA for approval and not make a public announcement of it? Is that legal? Sure, they will have checked all those angles, but just thought I'd ask.
That was with regard to the proprietary name. This is the nonproprietary name. But typically they don't get an interim name from a local regulator unless they are in the process of being approved/are approved. But that quote related to the proprietary name earlier.
It is either the international name, OR, very possibly given those noticing that it has not been published yet, a local regulator is providing that interim nonproprietary, generic name and usually that would probably happen in an expedited circumstance where the name has not yet been given yet.
