Holy Mother of GOD it's cold!!!!!!! 2 and a half days without power...I don't think my feet will ever be the same.
I had on 2 pairs of those socks you make monkey puppets out of...thermal underwear...2 pairs of sweatpants along with 2 sweatshirts and a heavy fleece jacket and topped it all off with a ski cap and the hood of my fleece jacket. That's how I slept last night. Oh...with 2 shivering Chihuahuas too.
They said we had the worst ice storm that's hit this area in 10 years. I'll post some pictures of our frozen trees as soon as I have the energy to get them off my camera.
We got our power back about 2 this afternoon (there are still thousands without) but no internet until right around 4. Good thing too because I really didn't want to spend the night in a hotel with the dogs but that's where we were headed!
