Buffett certainly invested in pink sheet companies. The cigar butt approach. Though we have a platform technology that will create returns for decades!

Distressed companies at the time when Buffett bought them were easily manipulated as there were far fewer market participants. The risk was high but he saw something others overlooked. The same story today with Northwest Biotherapeutics!

I believe that many very wealthy people have taken big risk before achieving tremendous success. Once successful they can afford to be more conservative in growing their wealth. I suspect that many here are doing okay, but still working to become really wealthy. When NWBO reaches double digits we'll be wealthy, but it will no longer be considered a risky investment.

Warren Buffett has nothing to do with NWBO though making that linkage is a good way to not talk about the fact that the ASM is way overdue and no date set and the JA is MIA and we’ve been on the 1 yard line for around a decade. Using the celebrity fallacy has worked with Elon Musk as well so now it’s Mr. Buffett.

That is what some penny stocks are in fact. I don’t think he disregarded good opportunities because someone suggested on bulletin boards to stay away from them. Thankfully, social media and bulletin boards did not exist to manipulate the markets in his early days.
