It seems unlikely that the trial was an outright failure. That would have been clear to the company a while ago and would have been material and required to be disclosed.
There is a possibility that the results are mixed and the company has not announced those results. That is pretty much the worst case at this point.
Anavex has shown that it has the ability to keep information away from leaks. Making any assumption based on the lack of leaks is pretty risky in my estimation.
My humble guess is that Missling and company know what the TLD is and maybe what the full data will looks like. Predicting what Missling will do has been a very risky situation. He operates to the beat of a different drummer. He seems to play a much longer game than the vast majority of listed CEOs. All I can say personally is that I'm along for the ride to see where it takes me
