Elite would have gone bankrupt just trying to defend themselves.

The lawsuits against Elite ALONE would drive the stock to SUB .01 whether we are innocent or guilty.

What exactly did Elite do that would put them at risk for litigation?

Percocet and Norco and other prescription opioids are completely legal. The FDA says they are safe and effective. There is absolutely no reason not to market these drugs. What if every pharmacy CEO had the same attitude? If people are upset about the Adderall shortage, well, just wait until there are prolonged opioid shortages. Stimulant withdrawal is nothing compared to opioid withdrawal. It would be a titanic disaster resulting in widespread pain and suffering, all because a dozen rich old men decided that their judgement is more important than the judgement of patients and doctors. It's just gross.

This is a good time to admonish every person that we should always take a stand and resist when old men try to insert themselves in private places where they don't belong.
