How would AF definitively know the end point was changed with the FDA?

Maybe, but clinicaltrials.gov is an official reflection of the entity in control of the changes (NWBO), and to my knowledge only the foreign bodies expressed endpoint change, not the U.S. registry, and NWBO never officially recognized that U.S. endpoint had been changed by May 10. Hence my concern of a fig leaf.
