crowin, that is some great Due Diligence

To me, this speaks of the World Wide corruption of Climate Change. I doubt that BM (bitcoin mining) is off those loons radar, but for some reason they are ignoring it.

B2B

At .018 per kilowatt hour (using flared gas) X 1449 that equals $26.082 cost per bitcoin. Doesn't sound too expensive to me!!!

This is listed in another online article: Great DD, huh!!! Somebody need to figure out what is going on!!! Is it 50 days or 13 years??? I know here in Maine I use between 500 and 1200 KWH per month depending on time of year....

How much energy does mining take?
The Digiconomist's Bitcoin Energy Consumption Index estimated that one bitcoin transaction takes 1,449 kWh to complete, or the equivalent of approximately 50 days of power for the average US household.

To put that into money terms, the average cost per kWh in the US is close to 12 cents. That means a bitcoin transaction would generate approximately an energy bill of $173.

This is straight up false LMAO. "It takes an estimated 1,449 kilowatt hours (kWh) of energy to mine a single bitcoin. That's the same amount of energy an average U.S. household consumes in approximately 13 years." 13 years LMAO. Dude that article is not trustworthy, to prove it this article which I don't trust either says that it takes 50 days not 13 years >>
