Remember the guy who was elected to the Senate from a western state in 2006 or 2008? After the election, one day he was giving an interview when he suddenly began speaking gibberish. It was pretty appalling to see. What happened? He recovered, and served till 2014.

And let’s not forget Biden. In his early years in the Senate, he suffered a serious brain aneurism. He enjoyed a full recovery.

So maybe people shouldn’t just quit when they run into a problem.

How about candidates who most likely have CTE from too many hits on the football field?

Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) is a progressive brain condition that's thought to be caused by repeated blows to the head and repeated episodes of concussion. It's particularly associated with contact sports, such as boxing or American football. Most of the available studies are based on ex-athletes.
