Because of Canadian securities regulations, your country or countries of residence affect the type of account you can open with Questrade. For example, only residents of Canada can open Questrade Portfolio IQ® accounts. Residents outside of Canada can open a self-directed account, but residents of the U.S. can’t open any Questrade accounts.
