As Mcfish and Lc3ltd have pointed out it is all about the bottom line for builders. There is not much benefit for a contractor to use insultex. It doesn't help their bottom line unless it is sold as an option.

Questions for the Insultex experts. If you double wrap a home, do you now have an r-12 factor? If you use regular r-19 in the walls plus insultex do you end up with r-25?
