The reason I can speak to these things is that it was part of a discussion I had with my students on the macroenvironment.

Great points, thanks. There are also addition details relating to Taiwan.
Taiwan

How many active faults are there in Taiwan?
The map showed the 50-year conditional probability of earthquakes for the 33 active faults in Taiwan. Actually, CGS has been publishing active fault maps in Taiwan since 1998. There are 33 active faults published in the 2012 version of the active fault map.

I have participated in several closed door (Think Tank) meetings regarding advanced chip manufacturing issues that could effect Taiwan and jeopardize their IC manufacturing process. The issue for NWBO and most other companies are the fact that many manufacturing devices use IC's and electronic components made in Taiwan. If a serious magnitude earthquake struck Taiwan, the vast majority of electronic components would disrupt the majority supply chain system.

I think that NWBO would be wise to do what IMGN has done, licensing rights to DCVAX-L to a Chinese pharmaceutical and getting milestone and royalty payments from them. Better than just letting them steal the technology from you.
