Hey Jim46, Catpole, Mutat and all. In my conversation with our friend it wasn't so much that big pharma has missed it so far with ENZC as much as they're focus is more on treatment than cure. When the disease is cured and there's no need for their product anymore.
I live with Cancer and one of the drugs I take every day would cost $41,000.00 yearly without insurance. I take two more as well that aren't as expensive. I also only take name brand patented drugs. I learned in my pharmacology classes back in the day that the FDA allows a far greater variance with generics than with name brands. You could be taking a 100mg generic and it might be as little as 70mg active ingredient, or as great as 130mg active ingredient. Each day your dosage could be way off.
I think ENZC is on the right track with what they are trying to accomplish and the published efficacy of it to date. My wife and I have many friends in the medical field. While I am retired from Hospital Corp. she still loves what she is doing in nuclear medicine and will continue there as long as she is passionate about it. Immunotherapy is everywhere now and I think it's just a matter of time until whoever ENZC is working with helps them come up with a manufacturing and delivery platform for their therapies. When they do the lid is coming off this. In the meantime best of luck to everyone! It's been a great week. Have a great weekend everyone.
Cheers,
Coach
