Yankees signed Marwin Gonzalez for his versatility as a multi-position player. However, Oswaldo Cabrera now fills that role making Gonzalez redundant . Oswald Peraza is not on the roster despite performing far better than Aaron Hicks, Gonzalez , or Tim Locastro.
