I'd have to think that LP knows a hell of a lot more than a Poli Sci major about biotech's, yet it seems that many short investors follow and believe the advice of AdamF. He's clearly been a tool of the shorts for decades, first at The Street, and now where he's working now, at Stat.
LP is clearly brilliant whether you agree with all her decisions or not. I believe her concern is purely based on the long term goals for the company. She knows that if things come together well long term the share price will take care of itself. All they're doing at the company is working to achieve regulatory approvals, whether a partnership or buyout occurs before, or after the approvals come LP knows that as long as they're headed for approvals they will be successful.
