One thing I have learned (and already knew) after reading up a bit about it, is that I will have to pay income tax on the shares issued to me. Which is close to (up to) 50% in The Netherlands.
I assume that (certificates of) those shares will be issued this year? Or next?
Any idea what the value of those shares will be (for tax purposes)?
The other thing, and I can't get my head around this, how I am supposed to pay millions of euros in income tax when I don't even have close to that kind of money or cash flow to pay them with.
The same could apply to your company (in theory). And I wanted to ask you about this before. Let's assume you acquire a big airline and get 10% sweat equity for closing the deal. How the heck are you going to pay corporate taxes on this if you don't have any cash and can't sell the shares? Which is similar to my situation.
