Cheaper lumber prices should help bring down housing costs

Over the last 2 years the progressive states have added many costs to the energy side of the home that any decrease in lumber prices.

Eight years ago I did a factory expansion that ended up with a cost of around $94 per sq ft. I am in the process of doing the EXACT same expansion right now that is projected to be $255 per sq ft. To meet the new energy codes we're estimating that those costs will be $90sf alone.
