Just to add the following from the NRCP "rule book": 16.1 (e) (1)

Untimely Case Conference. If the conference described in Rule 16.1(b) is not held within 180 days after service of an answer by a defendant, the court, on motion or on its own, may dismiss the case as to that defendant, without prejudice, unless there are compelling and extraordinary circumstances for a continuance beyond this period.

So in this case, appears Judge granted a continuance to allow both parties to reach a final agreement.

Seems technically he could have dismissed case against JPEX but decided to allow a continuance based on the fact that both parties agreed to "complete performance" by Nov. 1, 2022.

Is that how you understand the situation?
