You are welcome to include me in this list of deplorables - who for 35 years has served a rural community providing health care and counsel on things that no Doctor should but I am viewed as the trusted friend and have helped people with everything from animal illness ( suturing up dogs and cows), their relatives illness - legal issues - community issues - school issues I have driven patients to the hospital - taken them out to try to kick start their lives after spouses have died - taken them skiing - taken them to farm auctions - bought them food - bought their dogs food and delivered it to their houses after seeing the poor creatures - on snowy days have seen them trudging down the road trying to get groceries and pick them up - they still show up at my home all hours needing care ... I am such a damn deplorable person
