Fair points. They should make a reality show of the renovations to help fund and expedite the repairs.

I live in a rural area, in the woods on a river, almost 20 years now. I'm ready to move back to the city, for the food.

Except I think getting the paint, the material, the appliances etc. to the location is very difficult. Not only do they not have big box stores selling the material there aren't a lot of personal vehicles that can transport it there. I also don't recall seeing "truck" as one of the options for rentals.
