And what if the center of the golf ball isn’t exactly spherical but has an appendage inside the ball. Point it ahead, it goes straight, shift it 90 degrees to hook or fade the trajectory. Cheaper than a gyroscope!

It would be non-conforming. Already can't use titanium in the center of golf ball.
