#226599 RE: Ramp Worm #226598

Guesses about amorphous Titanium abound for the Ultra Watch, but the antenna lines suggest to me that it’s not amorphous. Besides it wasn’t announced as such, and bmg would be worthy of marketing attention.

I continue to hold out hope for Apple goggles to be released as soon as January and as late as June, 2023.

Over on Reddit there was a slip about an amorphous surgical stapler that is in the final stages of production. Won’t break the bank, but it would be very nice to see, would break the seal on medical which could work out well.

I see no money in hinges for us in the short term. I see no money in EV’s for us short term, but maybe eventually in EV motors. I have zero hope for batteries. Magnesium is highly reactive to oxygen (boom!) so I don’t expect to see much magnesium in battery cases or EV’s either.

For some damn reason China seems to be building out a boatload of bmg manufacturing capacity. Not at all sure why, but it’s something.

Also don’t forget Japan LM which is clearly planning something, God know what, maybe golf clubs or maybe a surprise.

There are irons in the fire. It’s just that standard metal manufacturing is astoundingly good. We need to wait for things to get so light with electronics and excellent batteries that there’s no excuse not to go very very very thin. That’s when LM starts to make sense as a me-only solution.
