Kiwi, I hope the cardiologists you know are in Europe, because even if U.S. cardiologists begin to prescribe V, how will most of those scripts not go to the Generics?

Yes, Statins had numerous studies showing reduced CV events, but it most importantly gave people results they could quickly see and that is what made it marketable. The cause and effect of doctors prescribing the drug and patients taking it was known in months. It told people what they bought and took was working and if it wasnt, they could make adjustments.

If Amarin management wants a blockbuster with their remaining time, they need to focus on something patients and doctors can see and monitor vs. selling an event that doesn't happen years down the road 25% of the time for some people.

This is where "science" doesnt really matter. It's understanding human behavior and being able to market the product and process to them.
