I dont time the market, I let the market tell me when it's time to buy. We are still hearing that a soft landing is possible, and I haven't heard about anyone throwing in the towel. Like I said, this is just the beginning. It will take time for all this excess to work itself off. It wont be measured in weeks or 1-2 months. There are still a lot of investors thinking buying the dip is a smart move in the NASDAQ, DOW and SP500. When these investors flip to extremely pessimistic and "it will take years" for the SM to recover, its time to start buying. I don't buy all at once, I cost average in and usually buy on the worst days, not on the relief rallys like some. Will you ever hit the exact bottom? No. I never claimed that. All I need to do is come close.
